The Udaan Project Begins
Synergy Sansthan launches the Udaan Project to empower adolescent girls in Harda district.
- First community leadership circles for adolescent girls.
- Local conversations begin around safety and gender equality.

We are a youth-led collective from Harda, Madhya Pradesh, building a world where gender does not define opportunity, dignity, or leadership.
In 2018 we began working in our own villages with small groups. Between 2021 and 2022 we met, reflected together, and began shaping the idea of a collective. Gender Nyay Collective formally started in October 2023, registered as a Samiti.
What began as shared conversations on safety, equality, and dignity has become a grassroots movement led by girls and women across villages and towns.
Our team creates spaces for collective learning, leadership, and action through community programs, campaigns, and cultural expression.

Every individual has equal rights to freedom, equality, and expression, and all youth and adolescents can live with dignity and agency.
To build a society free from patriarchal thinking and gender discrimination by advancing equal opportunities and collective leadership.
